Q: In a few sentences, tell me about yourself.


A: "I love camping and kayaking with my family. I love helping people and fixing problems. I am a bit bossy but only when no one else will take charge."


Q: Describe yourself in three words.


A: "Christian, Wife, mother"


Q: We live in Winchester so I have to ask....are you an Ale 8 drinker?


A: "YES"


Q: Are you a dog or cat person?


A: "Dog"


Q: What's your favorite season?


A: "Fall"


Q: How long have you lived in Winchester?


A: "since 1997"


Q: What are you known for around town?


A: "LOL....I could go in so many directions with this!! The woman who will take your junk. The woman who will help you get resources. The woman who will feed you. The woman who will yell at you if you aren't parked right in her parking lot. But seriously, I hope it is for my heart!"


Q: If you work or own a business in Winchester… what is it that you do and/or what is your business?


A: "I am the boss lady at Community Services."


Q: Where is your favorite place to eat in Winchester?


A: "Tough! Loma's for the blackened chicken salad or the turkey avocado. Burger is Bargains on Broadway. Smokin Howards has an amazing chicken finger salad, S. Main is super close to the house for a sandwich. Can't pick one!"


Q: What are some of your favorite places to go in Winchester-Clark County?


A: "Love Legacy Grove, Lower Howards Creek Preserve (hidden gem!!), Parks and Rec (can't wait for College Park playground!)"


Q: In what ways are you involved in the community?


A: "Director of CCCS, Chair of Operation Happiness, Chair of Parks and Rec, on VPLI, Association of Churches, Kiwanis, Community Education, Chamber of Commerce, Central Baptist Church"


Q: What, in your opinion, makes Winchester-Clark County a unique or special place to live?


A: "The people of this community are amazing. Very giving and I'm not talking but just one group. We have kids that are helping kids get beds. Most of the folks who come to me seeking assistance are so grateful and giving. While I'm helping them, they are making a donation to the Big Red Bin. People from all walk of life who will give of their time, talent and money and I know I sound like a preacher when I say that but it's true!!! Friendly town!! I love living here and my kids grew up and I'm so glad we raised them in this community."


Q: If you were going to introduce someone to Winchester-Clark County for the first time, what places, faces or activities would you tell them not to miss?


A: "Beer Cheese and Pioneer Festival. They need to shop CC's Closet. We are so close to Red River Gorge....you have to go hike or kayak or camp."
