Q: In a few sentences, tell me about yourself.


A: "I have been married to Charles Lykins for 37 years. We have a 32 year old son, a 26 year of daughter a 9 year old granddaughter. I was born to John and Ann Collins in Winchester in 1962. My father was a dentist in Winchester for 36 years, and I was a dental hygienist in Winchester for 26 years. I now own my own business here and love helping women to enhance their natural beauty."


Q: Describe yourself in three words.


A: "Caring, Quiet, Blessed"


Q: We live in Winchester so I have to ask....are you an Ale 8 drinker?


A: "Yes"


Q: Are you a dog or cat person?


A: "Dog"


Q: What's your favorite season?


A: "Summer"


Q: How long have you lived in Winchester?


A: "18 years first time, 26 years now"


Q: What are you known for around town?


A: "Mostly still as a hygienist. I love seeing my previous patients!"


Q: If you work or own a business in Winchester… what is it that you do and/or what is your business?


A: "Educate on skin care and makeup application. I do makeovers for special occasions and sell Merle Norman products, which I am proud to say are made in the USA and have been around for 90 years."


Q: Where is your favorite place to eat in Winchester?


A: "Engine House, Loma's, Bells on Wheels Food Truck"


Q: What are some of your favorite places to go in Winchester-Clark County?


A: "Abettor Brewery, Boonesboro for a picnic or hike, any place that has live music."


Q: In what ways are you involved in the community?


A: "I try to provide donations to as many of the local fundraisers as possible."


Q: What, in your opinion, makes Winchester-Clark County a unique or special place to live?


A: "It's great to live in a small town that is within 1 1/2 hour drive of about anything you can imagine to do! "


Q: If you were going to introduce someone to Winchester-Clark County for the first time, what places, faces or activities would you tell them not to miss?


A: "I would recommend all the locally owned restaurants in town. Fort Boonesboro is a great way to spend part of the day. Legacy Grove park is a peaceful place to walk the dog and let the kids play. There is live music somewhere every weekend. Harkness is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon in the summer."
