Q: In a few sentences, tell me about yourself.


A: "65 year old native of Winchester KY, married to Amy Spoonamore Berryman. Employed at Sayre School in Lexington KY since 1986. Working artist that is an exhibiting member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, and juried member of the Kentucky Art Council’s Kentucky Crafted Program."


Q: Describe yourself in three words.


A: "Loyal, artistic, spiritual"


Q: We live in Winchester so I have to ask....are you an Ale 8 drinker?


A: "YES"


Q: Are you a dog or cat person?


A: "Cat"


Q: What's your favorite season?


A: "Summer"


Q: How long have you lived in Winchester?


A: "65 years"


Q: What are you known for around town?


A: "Being an artist"


Q: If you work or own a business in Winchester… what is it that you do and/or what is your business?


A: "Bill Berryman Drawings And Paintings Of Fine Art LLC"


Q: Where is your favorite place to eat in Winchester?


A: "Blue Isle Cafe"


Q: What are some of your favorite places to go in Winchester-Clark County?


A: "Downtown, Bluegrass History Museum, Historical sites in the county"


Q: In what ways are you involved in the community?


A: "Run sound system at my church, member of The Winchester Art Guild, have assisted my wife when she conducts the Winchester Chorale."


Q: What, in your opinion, makes Winchester-Clark County a unique or special place to live?


A: "Small communities establish relationships that form at many levels. From walking into a restaurant and being greeted by name from the owner, to having your ice tea brought to your table by a waitress before you’ve even put in your order! Winchester is “home” no matter how long you’ve lived here. I recently heard a new resident remark at Christmas after seeing downtown decorated, that she had no idea she had moved into a Hallmark Movie!"


Q: If you were going to introduce someone to Winchester-Clark County for the first time, what places, faces or activities would you tell them not to miss?


A: "I would recommend eating downtown at our unique restaurants, Christmas parade and Chorale concert, Pioneer and Beer Cheese Festival, and to attend a local church service."
